Affiliate disclosure

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

Gifted is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

We may earn a commission from links on this site.

What that means in practice

In our own rooms, every product link opens a pre-filled search on the retailer's own site. We do not sell anything, we do not process payments, and we do not handle returns. If you buy something after following one of our links, the retailer may pay us a small commission at no extra cost to you.

Partner rooms

Some rooms are built with a brand. Those are listed on Partner rooms, each room says whose it is on the room itself, and the terms of that particular arrangement are stated there in full.

Two things work differently inside a partner room. Its links open one specific product on the partner's own store rather than a search, because a partner's shop can show us the exact item. And we earn nothing on those links — where that is true, the room says so on the page.

A partner room can still hold something the partner does not make. Where it does, that piece opens a pre-filled Amazon search like anywhere else on Gifted, the Amazon disclosure above applies to it, and the room says which pieces those are.

No brand has paid for a room. If that ever changes, the room in question will say that instead, in the same place.

How we choose what to show

Our picks are editorial. A commission never determines whether something appears in a room or where it sits on a shelf. Where our links are searches rather than single products, what you see on the retailer's page is their own ranking, not ours.

What we don't show

We deliberately publish no prices, ratings, review counts or stock levels. Those change constantly, and showing them without a live connection to the retailer's catalogue would mean showing you numbers that are quietly wrong. The retailer's own page is the only place that data is accurate.
