Privacy policy
This policy explains what Gifted collects when you use this site, and — mostly — what it does not.
Cookies
Nothing that tracks you runs on this site until you say yes. If advertising cookies are switched on, you will be asked before anything is set, and if you decline, nothing is set — the site behaves exactly the same either way. Ignoring the question counts as declining.
The one thing we store without asking is your answer to that question. It is kept in your own browser, is never sent anywhere, and exists only so you are not asked again on every page.
Analytics
We count visits ourselves, without any third-party analytics company. Our own counter records which pages are viewed, roughly how long they are read, and anonymous interactions — for example, that a product link was followed, never who followed it. Alongside each event we record the referring site, the country the request came from, and whether the device is a phone, tablet or computer.
It works without cookies. A temporary identifier lives only inside your browser tab and disappears when the tab closes. To count unique visitors, our server derives a scrambled number that changes every day by design, so yesterday's visit cannot be connected to today's — and your IP address is used only to derive that number, never stored. None of this identifies you, follows you between visits, or leaves our own site, which is why it runs without asking for consent.
Advertising and measurement
If you accept, we may load advertising tools from Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google, Pinterest and TikTok. We use them to measure whether our ads work and to show our ads to people who have visited before.
Be clear about what that means: those companies receive your IP address, information about your device and browser, and the pages you view here. If you are signed in to one of their services, they can connect that visit to your account there. Once it reaches them it is governed by their privacy policies, not ours, and we cannot delete it on your behalf.
We do not upload email addresses, names or any list of customers to these companies. We have no such list — see below.
Changing your mind
Use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page. Declining stops anything further from loading. It cannot recall information already sent, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise.
Do not sell or share my personal information
Advertising of this kind counts as “sharing” personal information under California law. We never do it unless you have accepted, so declining — or simply never accepting — is the opt-out, and Cookie settings is where you exercise it at any time. We do not sell personal information for money, and we never have.
What we do not collect
Nothing is sold on this site: every product link opens a search at a retailer, and any purchase happens there. We never see or handle payment details of any kind. There are no passwords here either — the early-access list below is an email address, not an account with credentials.
If you write to us through the contact form, that message goes to our inbox so we can reply. It is not added to any list and it is not used for advertising.
The early-access list
If you sign up for early access, we keep your email address, an optional tag recording which link brought you (for example “tt” for TikTok), and timestamps: when you signed up, when you first used your emailed key, and when you unsubscribed. That is the whole record.
It is used for exactly two things: opening early-access rooms for you, and the emails the form describes — a note when a room opens, and launch news. It is never used for advertising, never combined with the analytics above, and never sold or shared.
Signing up sets one cookie in your browser. It is a signed pass that unlocks early-access rooms and contains no personal information — not your email, not an identifier that follows you anywhere.
The list lives with our host (Cloudflare) and in a private spreadsheet we read; welcome emails are delivered by Resend, which processes your address only to send them. Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link that always works — unsubscribing stops the mail and keeps any access you already have. To be removed entirely, write to [email protected].
Affiliate links
When you follow a link to a retailer, that retailer may set a cookie recording that you arrived from Gifted. That cookie belongs to the retailer, is governed by their privacy policy, and is what allows a qualifying purchase to be credited to us. We cannot read it. See our affiliate disclosure.
The 3D rooms
Opening a room loads a 3D scene. That scene fetches a geometry decoder and its typefaces from Google's content delivery network, so Google receives the request — including your IP address — as it would for any file served from that network. It happens only once you open a room, never on an ordinary page, and no identifier of ours travels with it.
Hosting
Like any website, our host records ordinary server request logs. We do not combine those logs with anything else or use them to identify individual visitors.
