About this shop
The Garage is the room Gifted built for the person who fixes things, and for everyone who has stood in a hardware shop holding something they were fairly sure was wrong.
It is a two-bay garage with the front open: a pegboard tool wall down one side, a woodworking bench against the back, and a pickup parked in the other bay with its cab open. A fluorescent tube over the left bay flickers, because that is what they do.
Buying for this room has a specific difficulty. The obvious gifts are tools, and anyone who works out here already owns tools — often better ones than you would pick. What they do not own is the second flashlight, the light that reaches the back of the cupboard, the apron they would never spend money on. The useful category is not "better version of the thing they have" but "thing they have been doing without and stopped noticing."

Storage & Organization
Everything on these shelves, listed in full.

Storage is the least exciting gift in this room and the one that changes a garage most, because the problem is never a shortage of space — it is that everything is in a pile. Stackable totes with lids are the version that works: clear ones so nothing has to be opened to be identified, and the same size throughout so they actually stack. Buy fewer, larger boxes than seem necessary. This is a good gift for someone who has just moved, or who has been meaning to deal with it for two years.
How the shop works
- 01
Look around the room
Every piece on the shelves is something worth giving. Open the room in 3D and move through it the way you would a shop, or read the bays below if you would rather scan.
- 02
Pick something up
Each product opens a short list of the specific things it could mean — a Dutch oven is a size and a colour, a watch is a strap and a face. That list is what the bay pages hold.
- 03
Follow it to the retailer
Every pick opens a pre-filled search on the retailer’s own site. Nothing is sold here, and no price or stock is shown here, because theirs is the only version that is accurate.
